“Godfather Of Go-Go” Chuck Brown Has Died
Chuck Brown, better known as the “Godfather of Go-Go” has passed away. The death, from complications from sepsis, was confirmed by his manager, Tom Goldfogle. Mr. Brown had been hospitalized for pneumonia.

Congratulations to Nancy Wilson of Heart, who got married for the second time Saturday (April 26) at Sammy Hagar’s restaurant in Mill Valley, California. Her husband is a Fox-TV executive in charge of, among other things, the music on “Glee.” Nancy was arried to director Cameron Crowe from 1986 to 2010. They have two children.
Host and TV producer Dick Clark has died. He was 82.
Spokesman Paul Shefrin said the “American Bandstand” creator had a heart attack Wednesday morning at Saint John’s hospital in Santa Monica, a day after he was admitted for an outpatient procedure.

We were wondering who the very first Baby Boomer was so we did a little research. The very first baby was born after midnight on the night of December 31, 1945. In the early 80′s, author Landon Y. Jones found an account in the Philadelphia Inquirer which identified Kathleen Casey-Kirschling as having been born at one second after midnight. Though others may claim to be the first, the media has selected Ms. Casey-Kirschling as the first boomer.
Not exactly an Oldie But Goodie YET, but I absolutely love Adele’s new Grammy Winning CD 21! Her voice reminds me of many Oldies singers and she sings with passion that I haven’t seen in years.
Davy Jones passed away yesterday at the young age of 66 at his home in Florida.
